So, you did it.  You signed up for that big goal event.

We design plans for endurance events ranging from half marathons to Olympic triathlons to Ironmans, ultramarathons and even multi-day excursions and multi-stage races.

Your race is hot? Not a problem.  Your next race is cold and lasts for 4 days?  Pfft.  You’re backpacking the AT and weight and space are an issue? On it!

This package is for runners, cyclists, marathon swimmers, randonneurs, hikers and backpackers, adventure racers, canoe and kayak aficionados, cross-country ski trippers, and anyone else who wants to spend their time outside instead of inside and sweat while they’re having fun!

  • A very specific plan for during your event presented in both graphic and text formats
  • A best-case scenario fueling and hydration plan, backup plans, and emergency backup plans (because things happen!)
  • Extensive discussions about dealing with race day fueling and hydration setbacks so that you can adjust as needed.  Laurie won’t be racing next to you, so knowing how to adapt on your own is invaluable!
  • Or, extensive discussions about the route, ensuring fresh water, emergency equipment, potential hazards, and more!

Dr. Schubert requires a minimum of four months of subscription services for endurance race day planning.

Disclaimers and Information

These subscription services need to begin AT LEAST four months before your event.  Shorter timelines do not allow for sufficient testing of fueling strategies and sweat test data collection, or for planning for food drops and packing.

Also, if Dr. Schubert requests data, it’s for a reason. If you purchase this service but provide no data, you get her best guess, not her solid, data-driven recommendations.

BEST FOR: Elite, experienced athletes striving for the next level who already have a supportive team of coaches and trainers but need bespoke performance nutrition guidance and coaching. Appropriate for athletes with a Training Peaks subscription OR programmed workouts from a coach provided in advance weekly or monthly.

  • One-on-one weekly nutrition strategy sessions of 30 minutes to discuss upcoming training or competitions – in person, phone, or video chat
  • Initial session for education and preliminary nutrition goals
  • Weekly crafted recommendations for calories and macros around training as shown in Training Peaks IF monthly training plans are available in advance OR sample menus provided.
  • Recommendations that accommodate your specific needs and enhance your performance based on your medical and nutrition history, as well as a comprehensive discussion on your training and performance goals
  • Dietary analysis completed monthly or with significant changes in training
  • Supplement analysis, with discussion on future supplement plans as they arise
  • In-between meeting email support
  • Additional resources are provided as needed for specific goals
