Do you feel that you know what to do to make yourself better, you just don’t know how to do it?
Here are the multiple benefits of using coaching to achieve better health and wellness. Coaching uses skills you already have mastered to solve problems by using:
- A defined goal setting process
- Problem solving skills
- Positive reinforcement with a positive attitude
I get a lot of comments about nutrition, but the underlying issue is that many athletes are stuck. They might be making some progress in their sport, but in their life, they’re just… not. They’re tired of not making progress on their performance because they don’t have a defined action plan. People say, “I know what to do to lose weight, I just don’t know how to do it.” Or, “I know I need to eat better, but I’m short on time.” Or, “I just can’t fit it all in. I need to figure out how!”
My answer is always that we’ll figure out how to do it together! I guide you through developing a solid idea of who you want to be and where you want to go, help you set some goals that work for you and then problem solving when things go sideways. I provide accountability with positivity and warmth and laughter!
The first thing to do is give me a call and see if we “fit.” Different people have different styles and you’ll feel better if we can work well together. Then we get on the phone and figure out exactly where you want to go and start designing small baby steps to get there. We’ll end up with some major, scary goals and some goals for a few months off, and some goals for next week.
One you do the small weekly goals, the bigger goals will also be achieved. And you can use those bigger goals as stepping stones to accomplish even bigger, more scary goals!
Ultimately, you’ll be successful and accomplished and be living as the best possible version of you.
